General Health Services in Crewe

We’re best known as a travel clinic, but as a community pharmacy on Nantwich Road we also offer a small set of everyday health services — flu jabs, period delay, laboratory and rapid testing, and vaccination programmes for workplaces and groups.

Pharmacy health services at Crewe Travel Clinic, Crewe

More than a travel clinic

Crewe Travel Clinic is part of a GPhC-registered pharmacy (reg 1029608), which means the services below are delivered by NHS-trained clinicians to the same standards as our travel medicine work — just closer to everyday life than a trip abroad.

We deliberately keep this list short and honest: these are the services we actually provide. If you need something else — a specific test, letter or check — ask us and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can help or where to go instead.

Frequently asked questions

What health services does Crewe Travel Clinic offer besides travel vaccinations?

Alongside our travel clinic, we offer seasonal flu jabs (£20), a period delay service (£35 including the pharmacist consultation), laboratory and rapid testing services, and corporate or group vaccination programmes for workplaces and organisations. If you need something that is not listed, just ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can help or point you in the right direction.

Do I need to be registered with your pharmacy or a local GP?

No. Our services are open to everyone — you do not need to be registered with our pharmacy or with a GP in the area. Simply book online or call us, and bring a note of any regular medicines you take so our clinician can check everything is suitable for you.

How much does the flu jab cost and when should I have it?

Our seasonal flu vaccination costs £20 for a single annual dose. Autumn is the ideal time, before the UK flu season begins, but travellers can benefit at other times of year — flu circulates in different seasons in different parts of the world. We will advise on the best timing at your appointment.

How does the period delay service work?

For £35, our pharmacist runs a short, confidential consultation to check the treatment is safe for you, and supplies a course of tablets to delay your period if it is suitable. There is no need for a GP appointment or a prescription — ideally book a week or so before your period is due.

What laboratory and rapid testing can you arrange?

We provide laboratory and rapid testing services through the pharmacy. Because the range of tests we can arrange varies, the simplest approach is to contact us with what you need — we will confirm whether we can provide it, how long results take and what it costs, and we will explain your results in plain English.

Can you vaccinate our staff or a group travelling together?

Yes. We run corporate and group vaccination programmes — for example, workplace flu jabs or travel vaccinations for a team heading abroad together. We will put together a personalised quote for your organisation and arrange appointments around your schedule. Contact us to discuss what you need.

Do you offer full health screenings or travel medicals?

We do not advertise a fixed menu of medicals or screening packages. If you have been asked for a specific check, test or letter — for work, insurance or travel — get in touch and we will tell you whether it is something we can provide, and signpost you to the right service if it is not.
